Visdeurbel, or Fish Doorbell, is a unique invention that, with the help of people across the globe, allows migrating fishes to pass through a locked gate in the canals of the Netherlands. In 2024, it garnered the interest of 2.7 million viewers worldwide. This year, from March 3, 2025 to late May, the project will be online for anyone to participate in.

In the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, Timothée Chalamet exemplifies this in his portrayal of Dylan’s success. Soon after the movie's groundbreaking premier, Chalamet shares his end goal of being a legend, an icon in the acting industry. In doing so, both he and Bob Dylan shatter societal norms in their pursuit of greatness.

Like many Ontario high schools, Earl Haig offers a rich and invaluable CO-OP program to senior students.  CO-OP, or Co-operative Education, is an opportunity for students to leave the building and go to a place of work to experience the responsibilities of the workplace. The multifold experience CO-OP provides helps students gain tools that allow them to thrive personally, professionally, and academically.
