On November 7, from 11:10 to 12:30, Earl Haig’s annual carnival raised funds for Stella’s Place, a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth and young adults in managing their mental health.

This year’s carnival featured a wide range of creative booths, from a performative thrift store and a tattoo shop to “Tape a Teacher to the Wall” and a photobooth. Booths were spread throughout the school in Wavy Hall, the Main Hall, the large gym, and the cafeteria. There were a total of 69 different activities to explore. The Quiet Space was also open during the event, offering a calm environment for anyone in need of a break.

Carnival Day served as a joyful finale to a week dedicated to fundraising and raising awareness about the importance of mental health. However, it’s just one of many events this month focused on wellness and community care. Earl Haig continues to promote mental well-being while bringing students together for a day of food, photos, fun, and lasting memories.

A huge thank-you goes out to Stella’s Place, SAC, Outreach, and Admin for making this incredible event possible.
